Hey friends,

I am Ava Lauren Neff.

I’m an Ohio wedding and portrait photographer drawn to genuine connection, joyful moments, and bright, warm imagery that feels true to life. My story with photography started when I was 12, using my grandma’s camera and realizing how something so simple could hold onto something so meaningful. What began as curiosity quickly turned into something more, and photography became the way I tell stories and preserve the moments that matter most.

Along the way, I fell in love with video too. There are some moments a single image just can’t fully hold. While photos preserve a feeling, video lets you step back into it, the movement, the laughter, the in-between moments you didn’t even realize were happening.

Over the past five years, I’ve documented milestones of every kind, creating photographs and films filled with warmth, emotion, and moments that matter, captured in a way you can come back to again and again.

You shouldn’t feel like you’re being photographed by a stranger.

I want my clients to feel comfortable, genuinely connected, and like they’re hanging out with a friend—not posing for someone they just met. When you feel comfortable with me, the real laughs, emotions, and little moments happen naturally. That’s when I can capture photos and videos that actually feel like you.
