I’m looking to add an Associate Videographer to my growing wedding media team! This is a part-time position perfect for someone who is creative, dependable, and interested in the wedding and events industry.

Position Details:

Part-time, event-based work
Most weddings take place Thursday-Sunday, so weekend availability is required
Pay is based on experience
Hourly pay for event coverage, with additional pay opportunities for editing work
This is an associate/contractor position within the creative industry and does not include benefits

What You’ll Do:

Capture wedding day video footage using professional equipment
Work alongside photographers and other wedding vendors
Create a positive experience for couples and their guests
Potentially assist with video editing as experience grows
Occasionally serve as a photography second shooter when needed

Requirements:

Experience operating a gimbal is preferred, but not required for the right candidate who is eager and quick to learn
Experience shooting both video and photography is preferred
Ability to second shoot weddings for photography is a plus
Prior wedding experience is preferred but not required
Must be comfortable working in fast-paced environments and interacting professionally with clients
Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential
Must be willing to learn video editing software and workflows

Equipment:

No camera gear is required. Professional camera equipment and gimbals can be provided.

ALP uses Canon & DJI equipment. Must be familiar with using either or willing to learn.
