Sarah and Cory’s wedding day was the kind that reminds you why wedding days matter so much: intentional, emotional, and centered deeply around family. From the quiet getting-ready moments to a dance floor full of joy, their day unfolded with so much love.
A Thoughtful Start to the Day
I arrived early afternoon to capture all the meaningful details that Sarah and Cory had so thoughtfully planned. Soon after, Cory and his groomsmen stepped into the spotlight. It was GAME DAY! Strutting with pride, the boys walked in style to the groomsmen suite to get ready. Meanwhile, Sarah’s morning was filled with love and laughter. Mom helped get her into her dress, help put on her pearls, and most importantly helped share the room with her girls reading special notes. Sarah's mom also helped Cory get ready, which I found most special.
A First Look Full of Emotion
After final touches on hair & makeup, Sarah and Cory shared their first look, a private moment just for the two of them (and the occasional bridesmaid peaking around the corner). It was emotional, joyful, and so genuine. Afterward, we flowed right into bride and groom portraits, capturing their connection and the excitement of finally being together on their wedding day.
Bridal Party & Family Love
The afternoon continued with portraits of Sarah and her bridesmaids, individual moments with each one, and meaningful sibling photos. Shortly after, the full bridal party came together, highlighting the amazing group of people who supported Sarah and Cory every step of the way. Cory then joined his groomsmen for portraits while Sarah and the girls tucked away, giving everyone a chance to soak in the moment before the ceremony.
A Ceremony Surrounded by Family
At 4:30 PM, Sarah and Cory said “I do” in a ceremony filled with love, faith, and family. I especially loved how short it was, Cory was sooo excited to kiss his wife, the officiant said "you may now kiss the bride" at the same time he started to kiss her (I was cracking up).
Celebration Begins
The reception kicked off with a joyful grand entrance at 5:30 PM, followed by first dances that was totally above the clouds. Sarah and Cory shared their first dance above the clouds, no literally, Arrowood Entertainment (DJ) had a special surprise for them and it looked like they were on Cloud 9!
Sarah and Cory’s wedding day was a perfect reflection of who they are: loving, family-focused, and full of joy. Every moment was intentional, every detail meaningful, and every memory one they’ll carry with them for a lifetime.
